Orders & Shipping

How long does order processing take?

Orders are normally processed within 1–2 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Processing time is separate from delivery time.

How long does delivery take?

Estimated delivery times after dispatch are:

  • United States: 3–7 business days
  • Canada, Germany, France, Italy, United Kingdom, and Spain: 7–12 business days

Delivery estimates may be affected by holidays, weather, carrier delays, customs processing, or other events outside SEEMOPEN’s reasonable control.

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping is free on orders over $59.99 USD. A flat shipping fee of $7.99 USD applies to orders of $59.99 USD or less. The final shipping charge is shown during checkout.

Will I receive a tracking number?

Yes. After your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information where tracking is available. Tracking may take 24–72 hours to update.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Contact SEEMOPEN as soon as possible. A change or cancellation may be possible before processing or dispatch begins, but it cannot be guaranteed after an order has entered processing.

What should I do if my package is delayed?

Check the tracking information and confirm that the delivery address is correct. If the package has not arrived after the estimated delivery period, contact SEEMOPEN with your order number, tracking number, recipient name, and delivery country.

What should I do if tracking shows delivered but I cannot find the package?

Check entrances, mailrooms, reception areas, secure delivery locations, household members, neighbours, and any delivery photograph supplied by the carrier. Allow up to 24 hours before contacting support, as some carriers may mark a package as delivered shortly before final handover.

Returns & Refunds

What is the return period?

Eligible products may be returned within 30 days of delivery. The product should be in good condition and include the original accessories and components. Proof of purchase is required.

How do I request a return?

Email support@seemopen.com and include your order number, product model, reason for return, and photographs or video where relevant. Do not send the product before receiving return instructions.

Who pays the return shipping cost?

SEEMOPEN will cover reasonable return shipping costs where the return results from a confirmed product defect, shipping damage, or an incorrect item supplied by SEEMOPEN. For a change-of-mind return or another reason unrelated to a defect or fulfilment error, the customer may be responsible for return shipping where permitted by law.

How long does a refund take?

Approved refunds are normally processed within 3–5 business days after the returned product has been received and inspected. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to display the refund.

Warranty & Support

How long is the SEEMOPEN warranty?

Eligible SEEMOPEN products include an 18-month limited warranty beginning on the original purchase date.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty covers confirmed defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal and intended use.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover accidental damage, incorrect installation, unauthorized modification, liquid damage, incompatible accessories, incorrect firmware, normal wear, misuse, or other exclusions stated in the Warranty Policy.

What information is required for a warranty claim?

You may be asked to provide proof of purchase, the product model, serial number where available, a description of the issue, photographs or video, firmware information, and relevant installation or memory card details.

Will I need to return the product?

Not every issue requires a return. SEEMOPEN may first provide troubleshooting instructions. If inspection is required, return instructions will be provided.

Product Features

Do all SEEMOPEN products have the same features?

No. Recording resolution, camera channels, GPS, Wi-Fi, parking monitoring, storage capacity, accessories, and other features vary by model. Check the product page and manual for your exact model.

Do all models support 4K recording?

Only selected models support 4K recording. Actual resolution may depend on the product model, selected recording mode, active camera channels, and firmware version.

Do all models include GPS?

No. Some models include built-in GPS, some require a compatible GPS accessory, and others do not support GPS.

Do SEEMOPEN products support parking monitoring?

Selected models support parking monitoring when installed with the required compatible power accessory. Parking monitoring may require hardwire installation.

Do the products support night recording?

Selected products include low-light or night-recording features. Recording quality depends on the model, lighting, installation position, windshield condition, weather, speed, and surrounding light sources.

Can a dash cam prevent accidents or theft?

No. A dash cam is a recording device. It cannot guarantee prevention of accidents, damage, theft, vandalism, or legal disputes.

Installation & Everyday Use

Can I install the product myself?

Many SEEMOPEN products are designed for user installation when the instructions are followed carefully. Professional installation is recommended where hardwiring, vehicle panels, airbags, electrical systems, or specialized cable routing are involved.

Where should I install the camera?

Install the product where it has a clear view without obstructing the driver’s visibility. The permitted position may depend on local law. Follow the product manual and applicable vehicle and road regulations.

Why does the product turn off when the engine is switched off?

A standard vehicle power socket may stop supplying power when the ignition is turned off. Parking monitoring generally requires a compatible hardwire kit or another supported power method, depending on the model.

Why does the device become warm?

Electronic recording products may become warm during normal operation, especially during high-resolution recording or in hot environments. Disconnect the product and stop using it if it becomes unusually hot, emits an unusual smell, deforms, or repeatedly shuts down.

Memory Cards & Recording

What type of memory card should I use?

Use a high-endurance memory card that meets the capacity and speed requirements stated for your exact product model. Maximum supported capacity varies by model.

Should I format the memory card?

Yes. Where instructed, format a new compatible memory card in the device before use. Regular formatting may help maintain recording stability. Back up important files first because formatting deletes stored recordings.

Why does recording stop or show a memory card error?

Possible causes include an incompatible card, insufficient write speed, card wear, incorrect formatting, unsupported capacity, or protected recordings filling the available storage.

Does loop recording delete every video?

Loop recording overwrites older unlocked recordings when storage becomes full. Locked, emergency, or protected recordings may not be overwritten automatically and can eventually fill the card.

Can SEEMOPEN access my recordings remotely?

No. SEEMOPEN does not automatically access recordings stored on your product, memory card, phone, or computer. We receive a recording only when you voluntarily submit it for support or another specific purpose.

Firmware & Downloads

When should I update firmware?

Update firmware only when an update is published for your exact product model and hardware version, or when SEEMOPEN support instructs you to do so.

How do I identify the correct firmware?

Confirm the product model, hardware version, current firmware version, file name, and release notes before installing an update.

What happens if the wrong firmware is installed?

Incorrect firmware may prevent the product from starting or operating correctly. Damage caused by installing incompatible firmware may not be covered by warranty.
